RESEARCH

RESEARCH FOR NATIVE PEOPLES, BY NATIVE PEOPLES

For too long, research about Native peoples was conducted without us, producing research that erased Indigenous voices and histories and reinforced ineffective solutions. IllumiNative worked to reverse this trend, leading some of the largest research projects created by, for, and about Native peoples in collaboration with our partners.

DATA-DRIVEN NARRATIVE CHANGE

We collaborated with grassroots organizers, social scientists, and data analysts to uncover critical insights and create evidence and practice-based strategies for achieving narrative and policy change. Being equipped with research that truly reflects Indigenous communities allowed us to build more impactful and effective campaigns.
