AMERICAN GENOCIDE PODCAST CONTINUES TO HAVE PROFOUND IMPACT A YEAR AFTER ITS RELEASE
We’re excited to share that American Genocide has won not one, but two, awards for its storytelling and its unique approach to reaching new and vast audiences through digital platforms.
Since its release in April 2023, the American Genocide podcast has reached millions of people. Its “true crime” approach chronicles an investigation into the dark history of the Red Cloud Indian School on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Listeners are pulled into the Oglala Lakota community’s difficult and complicated relationship with the Native boarding school’s legacy, as hosts Crystal Echo Hawk (Pawnee) and Lashay Wesley (Choctaw) uncover new and startling evidence of a painful past.
